1. Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Shuanova ("Shuanova", "we", "us", or "our") processes limited information when you visit shuanova.com, choose a site language, read or download a resource, or contact us by email.

It applies to the English and Chinese versions of the Shuanova website and the files served from this domain. It does not replace the privacy notices of external services or websites that you choose to visit.

2. Information we process

The current website is a public product-studio website. We minimize the information processed and do not operate a visitor account database.

• Technical access information: our hosting and DNS providers may automatically process an IP address, request date and time, requested URL, HTTP method and status, referrer when supplied, browser or device user agent, approximate country signal, and security or diagnostic data needed to deliver and protect the site.
• Language preference: when you manually switch languages, shuanova.com stores only the value “en” or “zh” in the necessary shuanova_locale cookie.
• Email contact information: if you email us, we receive the address you use and any name, message, attachments, and message metadata you choose to provide.
• Information not currently collected through the site: account credentials, member profiles, payment details, precise location, advertising profiles, form submissions, visitor file uploads, AI prompts, or server-side game accounts and progress.

3. How we use information

We use the limited information described above only for the following purposes:

• Deliver, operate, maintain, and secure the website and its downloadable resources.
• Remember the language you explicitly select and route you to the corresponding page.
• Diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and understand technical service reliability without adding visitor analytics.
• Respond to messages you voluntarily send and keep necessary correspondence records.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Shuanova, visitors, and service providers.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Shuanova currently uses one first-party, strictly necessary preference cookie. It is not used to identify you for advertising or to follow you across websites.

The cookie is created only when you use the language switcher. Normal page visits do not set an additional Shuanova cookie.

The site does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social-media pixels, cross-site tracking, or fingerprinting. A cookie consent banner is therefore not currently shown. If non-essential technologies are introduced, we will update this policy and request consent where applicable law requires it.

5. Local game data

The free Number Devour demo uses browser local storage so a returning player can keep a small amount of game-related information on the same device and browser. This information is not a Cookie and the current game does not actively upload it to Shuanova servers.

• number-devour-best-score stores the highest number reached locally.
• number-devour-audio-settings stores only whether music and sound effects are enabled.
• The demo does not use IndexedDB, advertising identifiers, analytics, accounts, cloud saves, or a remote leaderboard.
• You can remove this local game data by clearing site data for shuanova.com in your browser settings.

6. Service providers and infrastructure

We use the following providers for limited infrastructure purposes. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy notice.

7. International processing

Our infrastructure providers operate in multiple countries. Technical information may therefore be processed outside the country or region where you live. Where required, providers describe the transfer mechanisms and safeguards they use in their own privacy notices.

Shuanova does not use international transfers to create advertising profiles or sell visitor information.

8. Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the information and context. It may include our legitimate interests in publishing, operating, and securing a minimal public website; taking an action you request, such as remembering your chosen language or replying to a message; your consent where requested; and compliance with a legal obligation.

The current site does not make automated decisions or create profiles that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

9. Retention

The shuanova_locale cookie expires after one year unless you delete it sooner. Number Devour local game data remains in the browser until the player or browser clears it. Technical hosting and DNS records are retained according to provider settings, provider policies, and legitimate operational or security needs.

Email correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the message, maintain necessary business or security records, or meet a legal requirement, after which it is deleted or securely archived as appropriate. The current website does not maintain visitor accounts or a customer database.

10. Sharing and disclosure

Shuanova does not sell or rent personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Limited information may be disclosed to the infrastructure providers described above, to professional advisers when necessary and subject to appropriate duties, when required by law or a valid legal process, to protect security and rights, or as part of a future legitimate business reorganization. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

11. Security

We use measures appropriate to the current site, including HTTPS, restrictive browser security headers, limited same-origin resources, a minimal secured language cookie, dependency checks, and access controls for source code and deployment systems.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive or unnecessary information by email.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and complain to a competent data-protection authority.

To make a request, email shuanova.com@gmail.com. We may need limited information to verify the request and will respond as required by applicable law. Some rights may not apply to every request or to information we are legally required to keep.

13. Children under 14

The website and its current products are not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

14. External links and resources

The website and downloadable PDF may link to third-party websites. When you follow an external link, that provider receives your request and its own privacy terms apply. Shuanova does not control the content, security, availability, or privacy practices of third-party sites.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, law, or service providers change. The “Last updated” date will show the current version. If a change materially affects how information is processed, we will provide an appropriate notice on the website before or when the change takes effect where required.

Before adding accounts, memberships, payments, uploads, contact forms, subscriptions, advertising, visitor analytics, or AI inputs, Shuanova will reassess the relevant data flow and update this policy and consent controls as needed.
